Inspired by her own grandmothers storytelling, as a young child, Maia would create stories with her vivid imagination and share them with anyone who would listen. Her passion for storytelling and writing has only grown since then. With a background in child development and education, she understands the importance of sparking curiosity and fostering meaningful conversations through literature.

She has only recently started writing professionally. Her debut book, "Zaki the Lion Goes Exploring," is a testament to her love of creating engaging stories for young readers.
